I am looking for a healthier food for my pet. What brand should I choose?

If you are looking for high quality pet food, then Rocket Petz is the place for you. We only offer pet food considered to be some of the best in the industry, so you can pick anything on our site and it would be a good choice. If you have special considerations or you want more information on how to choose, please read “How to Choose Pet Food” on our website and consult our brand information pages.

Where are the big name brands like Purina, Iams or Science Diet?

Rocket Petz has several criteria for its pet food selection. Our foods must not contain by-products, must have meat or named protein meal as the first ingredient, and must not have corn or wheat products as primary ingredients. This criteria eliminates almost every well known store brand in the market. If you don’t believe us, just look at the labels – or check out sites like www.whole-dog-journal.com.

What should I do if I have questions about a product?

What if I don’t see a product online?

Not all products we carry are currently listed online. If you are looking for an item and don’t see it on the web, please email us at customerservice@rocketpetz.com and we’ll do our best to get it for you or recommend a replacement. We are continuously evaluating and adding new products, so if there is something you want to see, please let us know.

Does Rocket Petz have a walk-in store or will call facility where I can physically pick-up my merchandise?

For customers in the Dallas area, we do have a will call facility. An additional discount is usually offered for orders placed for will call pick up. Will call is available during normal business hours: Monday – Friday, 9am to 6pm. If placing a will call order, please allow time for processing and wait to receive an email confirmation that your order is ready for pick up before arriving at the will call desk.
